United Nations, Nov 21 (CNA) -- UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and his special adviser on Cyprus Alvaro de Soto meet tomorrow in The Hague for consultations on the Cyprus peace process.

Nicosia, Nov 21 (CNA) -- President Glafcos Clerides and British special representative for Cyprus Lord David Hannay met here this morning for over an hour and discussed developments in the peace process, as these emerge following the submission of a UN proposal on a comprehensive settlement in Cyprus.

Nicosia, Íïv 21 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

Friday and Saturday: 22/11/02 to 23/11/02 -----------------------

Fine and mainly clear on Friday but partly cloudy with local showers on Saturdya. Winds will be northeast light to moderate on Friday becoming southewesterly to southerly on Saturday and the state of sea slight to moderate.

Maximum temperature: Around 26C inland and over coastal areas Minimum temperature: 9C inland and around 11C over coastal areas.

Outlook for Sunday and Monday: 24/11/02 to 25/11/02

Local showers on Sunday but fine with local cloud on Monday. Small decrease in temperature is expected.

De Soto hopes T/C will come soon with their reaction

Larnaca, Nov 21 (CNA) UN Secretary Generals Special Adviser on Cyprus, Alvaro de Soto, said he hoped the Turkish Cypriot side would come very soon to the UN Chief with its reactions to the plan submitted earlier this month.

In brief statements before departing for The Hague where he will meet Kofi Annan tomorrow for consultations on the Cyprus peace process, de Soto also expressed hope there will be a settlement before the Copenhagen European Council on December 12, which will decide about the EU enlargement.

GRECO States meet in Cyprus

Paphos, Nov 21 (CNA) A training seminar for the Expert-Evaluators of the Partial and Enlarged Agreement, the Group of States against Corruption GRECO, organised by the Council of Europe (COE) and the Law Service of the Cyprus Republic opened here Wednesday.

The three-day seminar will have joint plenary sessions with the MONEYVAL/PC-R-EV committee on money laundering.
