They were welcomed at Larnaca International Airport by Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides with whom they held talks at the airport's VIP lounge. Maher and Benaissa will leave at 9.30 local time (6.30 GMT) for Athens. They will then fly to the Greek island of Myconos, to participate at a forum for the Mediterranean cooperation. Kasoulides also made it clear that none of the Palestinians will continue to stay on the island, noting that should no EU country accept one of the Palestinians, Cyprus will be patient until the matter is resolved. The two Ministers stopped over here this morning, on their way to Greece, and met with Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, with whom they discussed here today the situation in the Middle East, developments in the Cyprus question, bilateral relations and the Mediterreanan cooperation.
