    Nicosia, Feb 23 (CNA) -- A group of Members of the British Parliament arrives here this afternoon for a four-day visit, at the invitation of the Cyprus House of Representatives.

    Over 43 million dollars appropriated for UNFICYP

    Nicosia, Feb 23 (CNA) - The United Nations appropriated a gross amount of over 43 million US dollars for the maintenance of their peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), a third of which was provided by the Cyprus government and an amount of 6,5 million dollars by Greece.

    Trade unionists create sensation in Australia

    Nicosia, Feb 23 (CNA) - The visit to Australia of two trade union leaders, a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriot, at the invitation of President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) Sharon Burrow, has given "a significant push" to rapprochement efforts and common action between Greek and Turkish Cypriots living there.
