Papandreou calls on Turkish side to show will for Cyprus solution

New York, Feb 4 (CNA) -- Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou has called on the Turkish side to show the necessary political will to enable the UN-sponsored direct talks on Cyprus not only to continue but also to see substantive movement towards a solution in the framework of UN decisions.

Weather forecast for Cyprus

Nicosia, Feb 4 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

On Tuesday Feb 5 and Wednesday Feb 6 the weather will be mainly fine. Winds will be northeasterly, moderate in the afternoon and light at night. Temperatures will be maximum 19 to 21 degrees Celsius and minimum 6 to 8 degrees.

Outlook for Thursday Feb 7 and Friday Feb 8: The weather will continue mainly fine. No significant change in temperatures is expected.

Nicosia, Feb 4 (CNA) -- Territory and property are two separate issues, in the context of direct talks on the Cyprus problem between the Greek and the Turkish Cypriot sides, Government Spokesman Michalis Papapetrou said here today, adding that the representatives of the two communities aim at concluding their discussions on all remaining chapters within the next two weeks.
