Weather forecast for Cyprus

Nicosia, Dec 17 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

Tuesday and Wednesday: 18/12/2001 to 19/12/2001

The weather will be unsettled with local rain and thunderstorms and snow will fall over Troodos. Winds will be strong southwesterly and the sea will be moderate to rough. Temperatures will range from 10 to 15 inland and from 12 to 18 on the coast.

Outlook for Thursday and Friday: 20/12/2001 to 21/12/2001

Partly cloudy with some local rain showers and light snow over Troodos. Temperature will drop sensibly.

Sea Temperature: 17C

Nicosia, Dec 17 (CNA) -- Cyprus and Slovakia are engaged in talks to promote cooperation in safety and health matters for employees and the competent ministers are expected to sign a cooperation agreement tomorrow morning.
