[01] Cyprus Airways - New aircraft
Nicosia, Feb 16 (CNA) -- Cyprus Airways has decided to buy two Airbus,
lease two other Airbus, sell four Airbus from their existing fleet and
lease four Boeing for its sister company Eurocypria, Haris Loizides,
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company announced here today.
He said the real cost for this is expected to be about 55 million dollars,
excluding the estimated revenue from the sale of the four A310-200 of
around 45- 50 m., while the loans the company may have to take out will be
around 30 m.

[02] Cyprus Airways - Olympic Airways - Privatization
Nicosia, Feb 16 (CNA) -- Cyprus Airways has been short-listed with another
three companies in the process of privatization of Olympic Airways, it was
officially announced here today.
Cyprus Airways had submitted a non binding proposal to participate in the
process together with another five companies. The proposal was submitted to
Credit Swisse which acts as a consultant to the Greek state.
