[01]01 Libya - Britain - Cyprus
Nicosia, Apr 27 (CNA) -- Cyprus, Libya and Britain appear to be entangled
in reports, carried by a local newspaper, relating to the expulsion from
the UK of a Libyan diplomat, now serving as Ambassador to Cyprus.
The government of the Republic of Cyprus has said it will look into the
report but has nothing against the diplomat, London does not wish to
comment on the matter and the Libyan Ambassador blames British intelligence
for defamation.
