[02] Applications - Turkey - European Human Rights Court
Nicosia, Jan 17 (CNA) -- Turkey will find itself once again at the dock of
the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe, if the three
applications Cypriot-born citizens of the UK, the US and Australia file
against Ankara are declared admissible by the Court.
Turkish troops have usurped the properties of all three of them, two
women and one man from the occupied village of Lefkoniko, and constructed a
military airport on their land which operates without due consideration to
international air traffic regulations, in that it does not report or
cooperate with FIR Nicosia, where it is located.

[03] Israeli military officials - Cyprus
Nicosia, Jan 17 (CNA) -- Israeli Defence Ministry officials were visiting
Cyprus as part of efforts to develop relations between the Ministries of
Defence of the two countries, a Cyprus Defence Ministry press release said.
The officials, whose names were not released, arrived yesterday and
today conferred with members of the Cyprus House Defence Committee where
they exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, it was
announced.
