CNA RG/MCH/MM/1999ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY2010:CYPPRESS:05[05] Finance Minister - Tax - Stock ExchangeNicosia, Nov 24 (CNA) -- The government will table a bill tomorrow to the House of Representatives providing for one per cent tax on transactions at the Stock Exchange, to be paid by the person selling shares, Finance Minister Takis Klerides said after today's cabinet meeting.He said the bill, approved by the cabinet today, is set to bring in some 50-55 million Cyprus pounds annually, if the average daily volume of transactions at the Stock Exchange is around 20 million.
