[01] Commerce Minister - Visit to Japan
Nicosia, Oct 9 (CNA) -- Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minster, Nicos
Rolandis leaves tomorrow for a six-day official visit to Japan, at the
invitation of the Japanese government.
Rolandis will meet with the Minister of International Trade and
Industry, the Minister of Transport, who is also responsible for Tourism,
and other Japanese officials, to exchange views on the development of
bilateral relations in the fields of trade, industry, and tourism.

[02] House President - Letters of Condolences
Nicosia, Oct 9 (CNA) -- President of the House of Representatives Spyros
Kyprianou has sent a letter of condolences to his counterpart of the House
of Commons, Betty Boothroyd, on the recent railway accident at Paddington
station.
Kyprianou has also sent a letter of condolences to his Mexican
counterpart Jorge Emilio Gonzalez Martines, for the victims of the floods,
which hit the country the last few days.
