[01] Ship - Arrests - Cargo
Nicosia, Sep 12 (CNA) -- The crew of an Honduran flagged ship was arrested
in the south-western port city of Limassol today and Police are looking for
its captain in connection with a case of receiving stolen goods from
another ship which sank in July off the southeastern city of Larnaca.
Police told the CNA an insurance company received a claim from the
shipowners of the also Honduran-flagged cargo vessel "Rofayda" which sank
in July, 22 nautical miles off the southeastern coast of Larnaca, for its
cargo of sesame seed worth 700 thousand pounds (some 1400 US dollars).
