[01] Cyprus - Earth tremours
Nicosia, Sep 16 (CNA) -- Two slight earth tremours were felt in Cyprus'
western and southern districts of Paphos and Limassol during the last 24
hours.
No injuries or damage were reported so far.
According to the Geological Survey Department, the first quake measured
4,4 on the Richter scale and occurred at 2150 (1850 GMT) last night.
The second was recorded at 0113 today (2213 GMT yesterday) and measured
4,3 on the Richter scale.
Both quakes were felt in the southern town of Limassol and the western
town of Paphos.
The epicentre was in the sea, some 20 kilometres south of Paphos.
