BANJALUKA - The President of the Serbian People Party (SNS) from Zagreb and a delegate in the Croatian Assembly Milan Kic said in Banjaluka that, according to information of the SNS, in the last five years more than 6,500 Serbs have been killed in Croatia. These 6,500 Serbs have been killed only after well-known military-police action "Bljesak" and "Oluja" as well as Serbs killed in cities from 1991-1994. " The goal of Croatia has been creating of a national state, regional unit and - Croatia without the Serbs", said Kic.

BANJALUKA - The Hague War Crimes Tribunal formed three groups of investigators which will be working on identifying of responsible ones for crimes committed against Serbs by Croats in Medacki Dzep in 1993, Gospic in 1991 and during military operation against Krajina "Oluja"1995. Director of "Veritas" Savo Strbac stated for Tanjug that a list with 76 names on it of possible witnesses has been dispatched to the investigators. These witnesses are inhabitants of the villages in the region of Medacki Dzep who had given their statements to the UNPROFOR under which alleged protection that region was.

VUKOVAR - The Special American Envoy for the Balkans Robert Gelbard and the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery are due to have talks in Vukovar with members of the National Board for Establishing Trust about the situation in the Eastern Slavonia. Aside from Gelbard and Montgomery, the representative of the Board Vesna Skare-Osbolt, vice-presidents Ivica Vrkic and Vojislav Stanimirovic, president of the Serbian National Council Milorad Pupovac, Assistant Croatian Internal Affairs Minister Josko Moric and president of the Association of the Exiled from Croatia Mate Simic should attend the meeting.

ZURICH - Serbia must endure and decisively oppose the Albanian terrorism in Kosovo, it is a message from a peaceful demonstration of more than 2,000 Serbs from Switzerland in Zurich against terror of Albanians from Kosovo and demonization of Serbian people in Swiss media.

SKOPJE - The BJRM President Kiro Gligorov stated in an interview with the Parisian "Mond" that armed clashes between Serbian forces and members of so- called "Liberation Army of Kosovo" were not internal-Serbian matter, but the international matter. "If the Democratic Union of Kosovo could have talks with moderate Serbian collocutors, there would be no reason for a war, which is not the case at the moment", said Gligorov, adding that the situation in Kosovo could be worsen.

ATHENS - Unless the terrorism of Albanians from Kosovo is not stopped, along with actions of police in Kosovo, the secession or independence of Kosovo is very likely to happen, assessed a Greek daily "Elefterotipia". "No matter that most of countries are urging on peaceful solution of Kosovo within FRY and not changing of the borders, possibility of changing of this stance, by the U.S. above all, reflects a way of solving of this problem, taking B&H as a model", said the Greek paper.

BANJALUKA - At the first Inaugural Session of the City Board of Banjaluka Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) with secret voting Dragan Cavic was elected president. Djordje Mikic, Stefan Todorovic, Mirko Banjac and Rajko Blagojevic have been elected vice-presidents of the City Board.

SRBINJE - The team of four Colombian surgeons and one American anaesthesiologist headed by the surgeon doctor Hose Lopes will visit from April 4-11 the General Hospital of the Clinical Centre of Sarajevo University Medical School in Srbinje.

VIENNA - In the framework of the programme of literary tribune of the Serbian Centre last night in the premises of Humanitas in Vienna literary gathering was held with the subject "What is prose of a new style". Milisav Savic, Dragi Bugarcic and Radoslav Bratic read fragments from their books.
