BIJELJINA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) adopted in
Bijeljina the agenda of the First Constitutive Session and after that
verified the mandates of the members of the Verification Commission and
Commission for election and appointments. The Club of representatives of
Serbian National Union (SNS) withdrew its proposal to include into the
agenda report of the RS president Biljana Plavsic and her proposal for the
mandatory of the future government. The proposal of the representative of
SNS and Socialist Party of RS to discontinue the session of the RS National
Assembly until its direct telecast has not been provided did not get
necessary majority of votes.
BIJELJINA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NS RS) verified the
mandates of the representatives on the base of the report of the
Verification Commission. NS RS has 83 representatives form 6 parties and
one coalition. Serbian Democratic Party has 24 representatives, Coalition
for United and Democratic B&H 16, Serbian Radical of RS and Serbian
National Union 15 each, Socialistic Party of RS nine, both Party of
Independent Social- Democrats and Social-Democratic Party of B&H two
representatives each. In Bijeljina the president of RS Biljana Plavsic
proposed to the representatives of the National Assembly of RS Mladen
Ivanic, professor from the Economic Faculty in Banjaluka for the mandatory
for the composition of the new government of RS.
