NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The president in the B&H Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik said good-bye to the chief of the OSCE Mission in B&H Robert Frowick in Pale and expressed his gratitude for his efforts and his engaging in the period since the signing of the Dayton Agreement until now.

SARAJEVO - The Minister for Civil Affairs and Communication in the B&H Council of Ministers Spasoje Albijanic thinks that with the adoption of the Law on Passports the effort of Serbian delegates to find the best possible solution related to the rights of RS citizens on passport has been rewarded. Mr Albijanic underlined for SRNA that the joint session of the members of the Presidency and Council of Ministers of B&H held in Bonn has contributed to the final solution, because satisfying compromises for the representatives of all three nations in B&H have been achieved. According to him, authorised organs of RS and B&H Federation (FB&H) will be issuing passports in 60 days.

SARAJEVO - The Minister for Civil Affairs and Communication in the B&H Council of Ministers Spasje Albijanic warned that he has been deprived of attending the session of Regional Group for Problems of Refugees and Displaced Persons and Humanitarian Question in B&H, which will be held on December 17 in Geneva. Albijanic explained for SRNA that Swiss Embassy have refused him the visa in the passport from unknown reasons.

SARAJEVO - The House of People of B&H Parliamentary Assembly adopted at the session in Sarajevo the Law on the Council of Ministers and Ministries and Law of Passports, while adoption of the Law of Citizenship has been anticipated after it had been done by the House of Representatives. According to conclusion from the Bonn Conference about work of common organs of B&H, the deadline for adoption of mentioned laws has expired yesterday, on December 15.

BRCKO - The president of RS Government Gojko Klickovic expressed hope that the border police in the area under supervision will remain in composition of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of RS because, as he said, supervision over the republican borders is not coming under jurisdiction of municipalities, but of state. After the meeting with the Supervisor Robert Frowick he explained that " order of multi-ethnical composition will be in effect for this segment of police as well, but in a different percentage" and added that a high level of concord on all matters has been achieved.

SARAJEVO - Establishing of the Commission for Media does not mean no essential changes in relations towards informative agencies in RS and FB&H, but sanctioning of previous attempts of the International Community to create common bodies on level of B&H - stated for SRNA the RS Minister of Information Svjetlana Siljegovic. She stated precisely that the new Commission designated during the Bonn Conference, will be dealing with issuing of licences for Radio-Television frequencies on the base of the document issued by authorised organs of entities.

BANJALUKA - The Superior Officer in the Department for Democratisation in framework of OSCE Mission Patrick Wingait announced in Banjaluka the beginning of "new multimedia campaign on human rights and values of democracy", which will last for next thirty months. At the press-conference in the International Press Centre Wingait stated precisely that the new campaign in the areas of RS and FB&H is under the name of "We should be building better society", and after that he promoted video "The Tolerance".

BANJALUKA - The spokesman of IPTF Alun Roberts stated at the press- conference in Banjaluka that 75 policemen of Serbian nationality will return again to work in Drvar, Glamoc and Grahovo, after the licence for work has been issued to them by the local Police Station in Livno, and it is necessary for them to go through training of the International Police. Roberts stated precisely that in framework of the process for reconstruction, in the western part of RS until December 12, one-day course had attended 1,511 policemen, and in a next few days it will do 266 more, while two-day training had been anticipated for 400 policemen.

PRIJEDOR - The Municipal Board of Serbian National Union (SNS) from Prijedor expects all Serbian parties to " responsibly articulate Serbian national interests at the municipal level, make an agreement, and in the accordance with the election results, constitute the Assembly, because it does not want OSCE to impose the election results" - stated for SRNA the vice-president of the Municipal Board Tomislav Prpos.

BIJELJINA - Previous president of Municipal Assembly in Bijeljina Dragomir Ljubojevic has been elected for that function again, while a candidate of Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Dragan Djurovic has been appointed vice- president, has been decided at the continuation of Constitutive Session of Municipal Assembly of Bijeljina. Radislav Kanjaric from SRS has been appointed as a president of the Executive Board of Municipal Assembly.

PRIJEDOR - At the sixth continuation of the Constitutive Session of Municipal Assembly of Prijedor by the secret voting for the president of the Municipal Assembly has been elected a candidate of Serbian Radical Party Drago Grbic, while a member of Socialist Party of Republika Srpska Cedomir Vila has been appointed as the president of the Executive Board, by which the constituting of the new composition of the Municipal Assembly of Prijedor has been completed.

SARAJEVO - The results of the elections for delegates of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska /RS/ announced by PEC (provisional electoral commission) are unacceptable and not credible, because PEC was not acting in accordance with its own rules - was concluded at the session of PEC. In the a announcement forwarded for SRNA after the session of PEC is stressed that PEC accepted as the valid 17,357 ballots from abroad which did not have the valid documentation, anticipated by Rules and regulations of PEC, and 1,650 voters were disabled from casting their ballots, although they were eligible for voting as they voted at the municipal elections.

NOVI SAD - The agreement of FR Yugoslavia and RS about the double citizenship we shall consider as the big fraud if it has a marketing significance for the presidential candidate of the left Coalition Milan Milutinovic - assessed Igor Mirovic, the president of the City Board /GO/ of the Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ of Novi Sad.

NOVI SAD - The president of the League of Social-Democrats of Vojvodina /LSV/ Nenad Canak will meet in Tirana on December 20 the prime minister of Albania and leader of Social-Democratic Party /SDP/ Fathos Nan, was announced in the press release from LSV Novi Sad.
