NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) Biljana Plavsic will talk tomorrow with the French Minister of Foreign Affairs Hubert Vedrine and with his German counterpart Klaus Kinkel in the French embassy in Sarajevo. They will talk about preparations for forthcoming conference in Bonn.

SARAJEVO - The Prime Minister of RS Gojko Klickovic expressed hope that "the members of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Police Department in Sarajevo will continue to preform their duties honourable in accordance with laws of RS, as they have done until now."

SARAJEVO - Into the counting centre in Serbian Sarajevo 80,770 of ballots arrived from OSCE centre in Vienna which are classified into 10 basic categories - confirmed the supervisor from RS Dragan Podinic. He emphasised that "51,590 of 80,770 ballots are valid, because they have the original voting certificates." Podinic warned, in the statement for Radio-Serbian Sarajevo, that "all other ballots are questionable." The RS Government representative and Director of this centre, Bosko Siljegovic confirmed for SRNA that counting of these valid ballots already started.

SARAJEVO - The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) House of Peoples should discuss the laws about citizenship, travel documents and Council of Ministers at the session which takes place in the building of the National Museum in Sarajevo. According to recent announcements, the representatives should discuss the reports of B&H Presidency and B&H Council of Ministers, about preparations for forthcoming session of the Administrative Committee of the Council for the peace agreement implementation which will take place in Bonn on December 9th and 10th.

SARAJEVO - The representatives of the B&H House of Peoples harmonised their stances about the bill of Council of Ministers and about bill of Ministers, but at the proposition of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Club of representatives, adopting is delayed for Saturday. Discussion on other items on agenda, including bill on passports is delayed for Saturday as well. It is expected that the House of Representatives will solve on Friday the only disputable issue of this law - ratio of size of the letters by which the names of B&H and entities will be written on the passport.

AMSTERDAM - The president of the Democratic Party (DS) Zoran Djindjic a patron of "hard-line national politics in RS until recently, but since the last year, after a longer tour and visiting intuitive American and European diplomats, he made a new turning point in his political image", reports Dutch weekly "Intermediar". Conveying the opinion of Dutch media, this weekly for advertising highly- skilled jobs states that "Djindjic was presented in not quite positive light until recently.

SREBRENICA - The OSCE Ambassador Richard Elerkman, together with his associates is arriving to Srebrenica tomorrow, where the talks with the representatives of LES and parliamentary parties about the results of the local elections and complains that LES has forwarded to OSCE, because of a large number of irregularities during the registration of voters from Federation B&H /FB&H/. According to the president of LEC Rade Golic, because of the irregularities during in the registration of voters from B&H and in the course of the electoral process LEK expects that OSCE would positively solve submitted complaints and then the majority in municipal assembly would have SDS and radicals.

SARAJEVO - Arresting and taking of Serbs into the Muslim concentration camps which were located in the "Famos" sport hall, primary school "Aleksa Santic", Hrasnica, Cultural centre and in some private basements, started at the daybreak of war on the end of April and at the beginning of May 1992, immediately after Izetbegovic's Government decision to ban Serbian Democratic Party - writes Director's assistant for editorial policy of SRNA, Zeljko Grujic in the addition of the text "Golgotha of Serbs in Hrasnica".

HAMBURG - The German military analytic Volker Steinhoff considers that "regarding to new striking power of the Muslim army and belligerent mood in its lines, the danger of a total attack on Serbs really exist." In addition to this claim, he quotes American generals, which are training Muslim army in a tactical-combat simulation centre near Sarajevo for which they confirmed that it is "the most modern military facility of such kind out of NATO".

SOKOLAC - The president of Municipal Assembly /SO/ Sokolac Ljubomir Eric and the director of the Office of RS for cooperation with the World Bank, Ranko Labovic signed in Sokolac the contract amounting 800.000 US$ for reconstruction of the watersupplying network in this municipality. The realisation of this project will increase the capacity of the greatest water spring in the vicinity of Sokolac - the spring Biostica from present 40 on 60 litters per second.

DERVENTA - The director of the Office of RS for coordination of the project of the World Bank "Assistance in the reconstruction and development of RS" Radenko Labovic and the president of SO Derventa Dragoljub Kukic signed the agreement about rehabilitation of the housing fund in this city, which value amounts around six million of US$. The resources for this project provided the World Bank. The paying off the credits will last 30 years with the grace period of five years.

BIJELJINA - The delegation of the Government of the city of Moscow and the group of economists from the region of Semberija, Majevica, Posavina and Birac talked in Bijeljina about possibilities of renewing and establishing new forms of cooperation. According to the president of Economic Chamber of the region Bijeljina, Milan Lugonjic the guests were especially interested for cooperation with the enterprises "Forestry" in Lopare , "Embroidery production" - Zvornik, Thermal Power Plant Ugljevik,

"Limko" - Skelani, "Izbor" - Brcko, as well as with Bijeljina enterprises "Zenit", "Kurjak", "Sava", "Semberka", "Agrosemberija" and the agricultural community "Semberija".

DERVENTA - The factory of shoes "Demos" from Derventa plans for the season spring-summer 1998 to offer to the domestic market 30.000 of pairs of male, female and children's shoes. According to the director Cedo Nikolic, the anticipated production will be realised thanks to the credit which the factory has got from RS Government.
