BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with Alexander Akseniak, envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, about the political situation in RS, Dayton Agreement and Donors Conference, assessing the talks as very pleasant. According to Ms. Plavsic, there were few suggestions which are very good, but its a question of whether they could be realised. Mr. Akseniok called the current political situation in RS "as very dangerous for the Serbian national interests", and added that Russia deems that the whole thing came into the "critical phase".

DOBOJ - The president of Republika Srpska Biljana Plavsic stated that she expected the decision of her expelling from Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ even earlier, noting that the expelling acted on her relaxing. The president Plavsic announced that she will not give up from her intentions to, as she said, "by chain changes of authorities settle up the situation in RS ", assessing in that context her expelling from SDS as "good move".

BELGRADE - The secretary of the constitutional court of RS Miodrag Simovic announced that the Constitutional Court probably will not hold a public discussion concerning the decision of RS president Biljana Plavsic to resolve the Parliament before August 10. Simovic said that convening the public discussion would not be expected before August 10, if president Plavsic use the maximal legal deadline of 15 days for giving response on the proposals of the Government and Assembly for assessment of her decision.

SARAJEVO - The delegation of RS Government is going to the Donors' Conference in Brussels under the heavy burden of threats that there will be nothing of the aid for RS, and bitterness because of the fact that great part of the campaign which in the world's media is underway against RS and originate from president of RS. In the announcement of the Government is stated that "the previous experiences of RS with the Donors Conferences didn't give us the right to expect more from this, which already was postponed several times. Nevertheless, the RS Government was seriously and long time preparing itself for coming before donors and, in that regard, made a series of projects intended for revival of economy and renewal and reconstruction of RS.

BELGRADE - The president of RS Government and minister of foreign affairs Aleksa Buha expressed the fear that president Plavsic "stepped deeply in the variant of the part of international community, by which until the end of the summer next year the independence of RS would be cancelled". In an interview for the Belgrade's "Demokratija", Buha said that Ms. Plavsic "has all our opponents by her side". Buha denied the information that the former president of RS Radovan Karadzic is in Russia, and warned that the attempt of his arresting "would come to an adequate response".

SARAJEVO - At the session of the Council of Ministers of B&H, held in the National Museum in Sarajevo, were accorded the attitudes and issues needed for successful holding the Donors Conference in Brussels on July 23 and 24. The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers Haris Silajdzic and Boro Bosic confirmed after the meeting that all the conditions were met for holding the conference both from the political and practical point of view.

BRCKO - The Ministry of the Internal Affairs /MUP/ of RS assessed at the meeting in Brcko that the security situation is favourable basically, the state of peace and order stable, and that the measurements for preventing the illegal trade with Federation of B&H were intensified. After the work meeting of the minister of internal affairs of RS Dragan Kijac and deputy minister Milenko Karisik with the assistants for the police jobs, crime and legal affairs with the leadership of the Police Station in Brcko was issued the announcement in which is said :"The police of RS in Brcko, by professional and skilled work, keeps the security situation at the necessary level, and is ready to secure the conditions for unhindered holding the September's elections".

SARAJEVO - The Board of Directors and the responsible Editor in Chief of SRNA strongly denied the news that SRNA have the secret list of war crimes suspects, and that on Saturday, July 19, issued some of the names from that list. In the announcement of the Board, on the occasion of false allegations of the correspondent of the "Daily telegraf" from Banja Luka, used in the statements of the president of National Party Radoslav Brdjanin and retired general Slavko Lisica, that SRNA disclosed some of the names from the secret list, is stressed that "SRNA do not have any secret list of war crime suspects".

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina /SSK&P/ Predrag Lazarevic opposed the arresting Radovan Karadzic or any other Serb. RS has its own judiciary and, if there exist the evidence, then it has to judge, not some political court in Hague, which was created to judge to whole one people who have been fighting for freedom and independence, said Lazarevic at the press conference in Banja Luka.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ Nikola Poplasen warned in Banja Luka that the constitutional crisis in Republika Srpska is going in undesired direction.

"Instead of solving problems through institutions, direct talks and procedure foreseen by the Constitution and Laws of RS, the mutual accusations were continued, which frequently becomes unprincipled besmirch, and even plotting" - stressed Poplasen at the press conference.
