PRIJEDOR - The Serbian Army has always drawn its strength and moral from the people's spirit of freedom, who have never been a conqueror in the history of its, but defended its freedom, religion, tradition, customs and the Serbian land', stressed the chief-of-staff of the VRS General Staff, general Pero Colic. At a formal meeting held due to May 12, the Day of the VRS, general Colic pointed out that the VRS was created under extremely difficult conditions and fought against far greater enemy, but succeeded in finding a way towards the freedom of its people.

BANJALUKA - Within the celebration of May 12, the Day of the VRS, a solemn assembly of the 1st Corps Command took place at the VRS Central Club in Banjaluka, which was attended by representatives of the General Staff, officers and noncommissioned officers of the Corps.

BANJALUKA - On the occasion of May 12, the Day of the VRS, colonel Milorad Kutlesic, received a delegation of the Serb Orthodox Church, comprised of the archpriests, Ratko Radujkovic and Veselin Mijatovic. Colonel Kutlesic thanked the Serb Orthodox Church on 'its huge contribution in the creating of a Serb soldier', stressing that the VRS officers, noncommissioned officers and soldiers will relay on the Serb tradition and customs in the future.

BELGRADE - His Holiness the Patriarch of the Serbs, Paul, served a requiem at a commemorative park Jajinci, near Belgrade, to all the prisoners who were executed in a camp on Banjica. 'The faith of ours was to defend ourselves from criminals not oppressing somebody else's freedom. Do never let us do something as criminals believing that thus we will do something good for our people. It will be the greatest misfortune as for families so and for us personally if we will believe that crimes can help us survive in this world' said the Patriarch Paul. Estimates say that some 80,000 people, mainly Serbs, were killed in Jajinci during the World War II.

SARAJEVO - Many relevant factors warn that the delivery of the humanitarian aid to RS was drastically reduced. Day by day there are more and more socially endangered persons registered on the municipal fund lists for social help, the public kitchens in all the larger towns of RS distribute up to a thousand of meals daily, while frequently we can hear from the refugees, who are actually living of the humanitarian aid, that they do not want promises any longer, but a concrete aid, says a journalist of SRNA's, Dubravka Blagojevic in a review titled 'Help with "Certain" conditions.
