NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

PALE - The chief liaison officer with SFOR, general Grejem Ker, organised a reception in the Panorama Hotel in Pale, regarding his leaving from the post.

SARAJEVO - The high representative for civil affairs in B-H, Carl Bildt, requested B-H Federation authorities to renew the process to the Croat policemen involved in shooting incidents in Mostar on February of 10ht. Bildt assessed as "mockery" the process to three Croat policemen, accused in IPTF report of the incident, who were given short sentences to prison, with an open possibility of the sentence serving delayed.

MOSTAR - The UN special repporteur for human rights, Elizabeth Rehn, talked in Mostar with Office of High Representative officials about the current situation in the city, reports Muslim Radio-Sarajevo. Rehn also met with deputy ombudsman in the Federation, Sefik Hadzihasanovic, who informed her of the human rights observance in the Neretva Canton.

SARAJEVO - The president of the Union of B-H Socialdemocrats, Sejfudin Tokic, demanded that the Federal Government, particularly the ruling parties - the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) - "secure the fundamental human rights as right to confession and protection of sacral buildings".
