NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - In the Brcko area, the Muslims an Croats opened 19 prisoner camps - from the "Interplet" factory in Boderiste to the coffee bar in Maoca - for their Serb neighbours, writes "Politika Ekspres" and adds that the main Muslim witnesses in the Rome session of the Arbitration Commission - Semso Sakovic and Mijo Antic - tried to hide it. "They were direct participants in the persecution of Serbs, and seemed to believe that justice is unreachable, because they played a role of victims in Rome. "

BERLIN - One of the most influential Institutes in Germany, "Endowment, Science and Politics", issued several interesting studies on prospects of peace in the former Yugoslavia, concluding that the international community has no resolution for the deadlock in the political process as yet, so it is necessary that NATO forces remain in the region until the last point of the political agreement is implemented.

AMSTERDAM - The Dutch daily papers from Drenten and Hroningen and Dutch state TV paid significant attention to involvement of Dutch mercenaries in crimes the Croatian army has committed against the Serbs in the Republic of the Srpska Krajina. In the reconstruction of the events, journalist Rob Sibelnik and Rob Trip claimed that "a special Dutch-Croat terrorist unit seized on September 9, 1993, the first strategic point, the "Roglici" Bridge, during which operation none has noted or stopped them". They said that the small number of Serb soldiers was dispersed through the area, and did not represent a danger for them".

LONDON - The former Yugoslav president, Borislav Jovic, warned the president of Serbia, Slobodan Milosevic, that his party would break-up if he fails to recognise the opposition victory in some cities of Serbia. In an interview for the newest edition of "Guardian", Jovic proposes to president Milosevic either recognition of the electoral results or compromise with the opposition. "I do not believe that Milosevic is psychologically ready to understand his mistakes and to correct them", added Jovic.

STOLAC - Croatian civilians blocked the bridge in the centre of Stolac, thus preventing Muslim refugees from return into this city, reports AFP. About 300 to 400 Croat protestants, among whom a fair number of women and children, gathered at the bridge and blocked the way for convoy.

BEOGRAD - Nineteen Members of a Ustashe terrorist group, which entered the area of Bugojno in 1972 in order to "organise the Croatian up-rise" and which was destroyed after a brief fight, will be decorated by Croatian president Franjo Tudjman personally, writes Belgrade's "Vecernje Novosti".
