SARAJEVO - The Croatian army backed by the Muslim troops committed a "perfect crime" in the Republic of the Srpska Krajina (RSK) (in the Western Slavonia, Banija, Lika and Kordun) in May and August, 1995. This crime was one of the largest crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia during the five years of the civil war. Why is this crime committed against the people of the considerable part of the Srpska Krajina "perfect"? First of all, because of a double alibi. Namely, official Zagreb was given the "green light" by some of the world leaders for the mass expulsion of nearly 300,000 residents, while in return Croatia has gained its place in the NATO's plans in the Balkans.
