ZVORNIK - The vice-president of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS), Nikola Poplasen, talked with representatives of the Municipality of Zvornik, about the savage settling of Muslims in the zones of separation and the housing of refugees and exiles, of which more than 30,000 are presently living in the Municipality. During his two-day long working visit to Zvornik, Poplasen got acquainted with the current political and security situation in the municipality, which was assessed as stabile.

GENEVA - US envoy for the former Yugoslavia John Kornblum, backed "democratic processes" in Serbia, after more than two hours of talks with opposition leader Vuk Draskovic and other members of the Zajedno [Together] coalition, reports Reuters. After the meeting, Draskovic stated in an interview for journalists that the Dayton agreement is in jeopardy and that the Serbian opposition is seeking "diplomatic support" from the United States and the European Union.

BELGRADE - The Nis district court upheld Zajedno's appeal and ordered the city electoral commission to endorse the opposition victory which they won in the second round of the local elections held on November 17, cites Reuters the statement of a representative of the "Zajedno" coalition.

BELGRADE - Students of the University in Belgrade, who have been protesting for more than 20 days against the annulment of the electoral will of the citizens, gathered on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy, where from they started once again their march through Belgrade.

BELGRADE - By the gathering of people, the 26th protest of the Zajedno [Together] coalition started at Terazije, and was over after some 250,000 people marched through Belgrade. The deputy of the Serbian Renewal Movement, Milan Komnenic, addressed the mass rally, pointing out that "we must return our homeland to Europe" and that this is the reason for Vuk Draskovic's visit to Geneva.
