SARAJEVO - The vicepresident and the acting president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked with the chief of OSCE mission for RS and MoslemCroatian federation Robert Frowick about the organisation of September's elections. While assessing the Frowick's visit as very useful, Mrs. Plavsic said that during the today's talks "a certain things were elaborated" which are connected for the organisation of elections. "September 14 is approaching and sincere wish of all sides exists, especially of the people who came here to take care about elections, to prepare elections in detail and anticipate unpleasant situations, so it could be possible to act preventively so to avoid incidents", stated Mrs. Plavsic.

SARAJEVO - At Pale 62nd session of the RS National assembly /NS/, at which the delegates, according to accepted agenda, will discuss about a series of Law proposals in the area of telecommu nications, territory organisation and local selfgovernment. The session, presided by the Assembly president Momcilo Krajisnik, is attended by RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic, the vice presidents of government Miroslav Vjestica and Velibor Ostojic, and other ministers and guests.

SARAJEVO - NS RS adopted, during the 62. session, which is being held in Pale, a series of Law Proposals and Draft Enact ments and Amendments to the Law about excises and sales taxes. The delegates adopted the Law proposals on the space arrange ments, the Law on Telecommunications, the Law on national parks, and Law on change and amendments the law on youth collectives.

SARAJEVO - In the discussion on the missing and detained soldiers and civilians, the delegates of NS RS indicated that many parties in the preelectoral campaign use this delicate material for their promotion and critics of the governing party. TO the State commission of RS for POW exchange is given the recognition for previous work, and ordered to publicly announce more information about the results of exchange and searching missing people, so the manipulations should be avoided.

SARAJEVO - At the session of NS RS a certain number of officials were dismissed and at the relevant state functions appointed more persons. The president of the Council for making "The space plan of RS 1996 - 2015" the academic Stevan Karamata in the introductory presentation acquainted delegates about the importance of this document, which is, according to him, besides the Constitution most important act of one state. "By plan will be shown and confirm the sovereignty of RS" - highlighted the academic Karamata while stressing that in this act are systema tised optimal directions of RS development.

SARAJEVO - At the session of RS government, held in Pale, it is decided that in war disabled persons and the families of the fallen Serbian soldiers will be payed pensions for May, next week. The resources for payment is provided by RS government. At the session was also discussed about revival of the production in the enterprise "Orao", about problems in Serbian Sarajevo, as well as about the sales of the wood because of not rational spending of raw materials.

SARAJEVO - The president of the RS government /RS/ Gojko Klickovic energetically rejected accusations that he is responsi ble for not holding yesterday's meeting in Sarajevo, at which it should have been talked about further exhumation of the war victims. "The statement of the Column Murphy, the press represen tative of the Carl Bildt's Office of High Representative of the international community, absolutely don't suit to the truth and can't contribute to the further work of the State commissions of Federation B&H and RS at the extremely difficult and delicate issue of finding missing persons and exhumation of the victims of war in the former B&H because, first of all, the agreement reached at the previous meeting in Pale isn't fulfilled", is said in the public announcement of the RS government, signed by prime minister Klickovic.

SOKOLAC - His High Holliness Metropolitan Dabrobosanski Mr. Nikolaj met at Sokolac His Holliness Cardinal Vrhbosanski Mr. Vinko Puljic. According to the words of Cardinal Puljic, at the meeting was talked about some, very connected and common atti tudes of the Serbian Orthodox and Catholic Churches. Mr. Nikolaj expressed his contentment with the meeting and reminded that he and Cardinal Puljic during past war talked about the possibility of stopping the bloodshed in the former B&H.

SARAJEVO - The Ministry of Internal Affairs /MUP/ of RS will undertake a special measures so to keep a favourable security conditions in the period of preelectoral campaign, at the day of elections and after that, and secure a personal and property security, freedom and rights of citizens. Concerning this, in the public announcement, MUP reminds on the obligation of the party leadership to announce timely all meetings and other gatherings, which are in accordance with the regulations of RS, to the compe tent authorities of Ministry of Internal Affairs.

SARAJEVO - The Rs government sent a protest letter to the FR Yugoslavia /SRJ/ government because of its decision from August 5 to further not legally send all taxes and excises, payed for the goods which goes to RS, at the account of Yugoslavian Customs Department, with this illegally usurping the budget resources of Republika Srpska. In this letter is asked for the explanation of the reasons for setting up such decision.

BELGRADE - The president of the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha stated that the news about the decision of OSCE to punish this party in cash with 25,000 US $ are not true. "It is true that there is an agreement about money penalty for par ties by denying the part of resources from the fund for preelec toral campaign of Electoral Commission", said Mr. Buha for the "Daily Telegraf".

AMSTERDAM - The impending September's elections will not change anything at the political scene in RS, is the assessment of the majority of Dutch media. Last days the Dutch media con cluded that SDS is convincingly at the leading position, besides other things because the majority of the opponent parties have a lack of concrete programmes for solving the current problems.

CLEVELAND - The Moslem secret service, called "The agency for researching and documentation", is publicly attacking, intim idating, arresting and abusing the opponent leaders, their fol lowers and all who are against the Party of the Democratic Action /SDA/, writes "New York Times". In one of the sharpest reports, ever published about Izetbegovic's government, the U.S. daily concludes that "the secret police is threatening to the families of the opponent leaders, and in some areas is even forbidden to talk about the politics."

PARIS - The preparations for the September's elections in the Moslems part of the former B&H, where in full is governing SDA, is in the atmosphere of making false results of elections, assert the opponent Moslem parties. While transmitting this assessment, French "Le Monde" highlights that with this assess ment agree also the OSCE monitors.

BERLIN - Coming September's elections in RS and F B&H will ridicule the spirit of the Dayton Agreement, because they will not be democratic - writes the Berlin's news "Welt". According to the German daily, "no any side will secure elections to be fair".
