The UN embargo against FR Yugoslavia served to hide the secret arming of the enemies of the Bosnian Serbs - remarks the Bulgarian daily "Kontinent". "While WEU monitors watched like hawks the Bulgarian barges on the Danube, a river of arms run along the southern Turkish corridor," says the same newspaper. "Ankara helped the delivery of Iranian weapons to the Moslems in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Rifles were shipped from the entire Islamic world, but no one wanted to see this." - remarks the "Kontinent" article. (Novosti, May 14, 1996)

    [10] POISON FOR BOSNIAN SERBS

"NOA" the official newspaper of the Chinese Army, accused yesterday the US of having tested mass destruction weaponry during the bombing of Serbian controlled territories in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to ascertain the possibility of ruling the world with such arms.

Offering a detailed analysis of the American air-strikes, which were part of the NATO operation last summer, the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army newspaper affirms that the US used the most modern fighter-bombers, laser guided missiles, cruising missiles, radioactive ammo and poisonous shells.

"America is the only country that continued nuclear and chemical weapons tests, underscores the Chinese newspaper, adding that "the US is trying to secure world domination with mass destruction weapons tested on Bosnian Serbs." (Novosti, May 14, 1996)
