[01] CLEAR POLICY OF PEACE

He said that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia even when the others were using force for secession, when the external factors were silent in the face of this, was striving for the dialogue.

Federal Republic of Yugoslavia has supported five peace plans of the international community, from the first one by Qutilliero in 1992 up to the Contact Group plan in 1994.

Lilic also underlined that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, our delegation in Dayton headed by President of Serbia Slobodan Milosevic, has given outstanding contribution to peace. Not because Dayton Agreement is an ideal solution, but because it is a realistic compromise which is putting a s to war and destruction and because it is a turning point from war towards peace.

President of the FR of Yugoslavia had talks yesterday with the Prime Minister of Byelorussia Michael Chigir and said that the balance of his previous talks in Minsk is very successful and that he hopes for a fast and comprehensive development of the relations between the two countries. [02] RUSSIAN BUSINESSMEN RECEIVED BY MILOSEVIC

Economic ties and cooperation are now being strengthened with an important place occupied by the joint deals of these companies with the enterprises from our country.

There was discussion about the joint venture of the Yugoslav and Russian partners in the projects and investments in the field of exploitation, processing and placement of oil and oil derivatives, scientific and research work, construction activities for the needs of industrial production and in the field of trade. [03] EXPERTS TO RESOLVE PENDING ISSUES

Government has established an expert team for talks with the Croat side in the solution and determination of pending issues in the field of road, railway and air traffic, telecommunications and power. (Politika ekspres, March 8, 1996)

[04] INTERESTED IN YUGO-PARTNERS

Prime Minister explained the market character of the Yugoslav economy, and the fact that the regulations in force regarding investment of foreign capital, fiscal and other facilities which the foreign investors are enjoying in our country are very favorable. He supported the efforts of Deloit Tush company to present to its clients conditions and advantages of investing in our economy, and taking of an active part in its realization. [05] CONDITIONS FOR AID TO YUGOSLAV ECONOMY

Further to the talks about activities and plans for the economic reform in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, there was also discussion about concrete financial arrangements and especially the conditions under which this bank could assist the recovery of the Yugoslav economy.

During his meeting with the press Governor Avramovic conveyed his impression that Britain is very much interested for the overall relations with the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to be revived as soon as possible, and that it is willing, under certain conditions, to help financially in the recovery of our under sanctions disturbed economy. [06] LONG-TERM COOPERATION

Peace in former Yugoslavia is a guarantee for a new economic momentum between Bulgaria and the FR of Yugoslavia, which is an example for all the Balkan countries because only integration in the region can take out the south-east of Europe from backwardness and accelerate its links with the developed Europe and the world, stated jointly members of the commission. [07] CHAOS IN SARAJEVO

In Hadzici, according to her, only a few dozens of Serbs have remained, but in the meantime several hundreds of Croats and Muslims have moved in. In Vogosca according to the UNHCR data, some 700 Serbs have remained, while refugees from Ilidza are yet expected because on March 12, 1996 the police of the Croat-Muslim Federation is to arrive. [08] IZETBEGOVIC DECEIVES THE UNITED STATES

Quoting western diplomatic and military sources, the newspaper "Washington Post" is writing that in Bosnia at the moment there are between five and seven training centers managed by the Irani instructors, either the ones who have remained there after the war, or those who have arrived in Bosnia later as agents of the Irani secret services. [09] CONFESSES TO CRIMES

There is a grounded suspicion that Drazen Erdemovic in July 1995 in the vicinity of Srebrenica took part in mass liquidation of civilian population. In the presence of his defense counsel, the accused confessed to the crime with which he is charged before the investigation judge in Novi Sad.

Because of aiding and abetting the accused Erdemovic, Radoslav Kremanovic from Banja Luka was also arrested. (Vecernje novosti, March 8, 1996)

[10] THE FIRST ISSUE OF THE SERBIAN-RUSSIAN MAGAZINE 'ON THE BORDER OF CENTURIES' WAS PROMOTED

Emphasizing that this magazine is the result of several years of encounters between scientists and intellectuals of the two Universities and many years of scientific, theoretical and intellectual understanding, Prof. Markovic said that this publication is a viable contribution to the process which should enable affirmation of science as the entity which at the transition into the new century will, on equal terms with the politics, be responsible for the future of mankind, and should even take over the role which until now had the politics.
