[15] ULQINI: TIRANA SP IN EXPECTANCY OF MEJDANI

TIRANA, DEC 10 (ATA) By Agim Fagu: The "marathon" meeting of Tirana Socialist Party Leading Committee was postponed again, because it is expected the SP Secretary General, Rexhep Mejdani, to come back.

"I think that the marathon of this meeting may end by next week, after Mejdani will come back from America, because he is the main delegate of SP Presidency", Socialist Party's branch of Tirana Musa Ulqini told ATA.

But everything is clear on the postponements of this meeting. The socialists of Tirana have requested the resignation of Nano and of SP Presidency.

Ulqini was accused by SP Presidency of being the only person responsible for the postponement of the meeting.

"We have approved the report and the counter-reply towards misinformation in press. The decisions are taken first by the branch presidency and after that they are approved by the Leading Committee. Every other interpretation done on my behalf is mistaken and tendentious", said Ulqini.

The branch of Tirana has opened once again the "file" of accuses against the SP presidency and chairman Nano, to enrich it with the accuses of Tirana socialists. /kled/mt/
