    [01] CILLER CONDEMNS IRAQ

    Foreign Minister Ciller said yesterday that the attitudes of the Iraq administration were astonishing in that Iraq was trying to blame Turkey for the problems in the troubled northern regions of Iraq.

    Ciller, in a note to Secretary General of the UN, Boutros Ghali, said that Turkey had done all that was possible to preserve stability in the region, and that the UN should work to remove negative responses to Turkey's efforts. She also noted that Turkey was still waiting for UN initiatives to cancel out Turkey's losses stemming from the Gulf war. /Sabah/

    [02] KURDS BURY HATCHET IN ANKARA

    Iraq's rival Kurdish groups yesterday agreed to end their bloody internal strife and cooperate in a regional administration following two days of talks held in Ankara under the co-sponsorship of the US, Turkey and Britain. They also agreed to crackdown on Turkish Kurdish separatists in their enclave in northern Iraq while Ankara secured the closure of a UN-run refugee camp believed to be har
