KOZARSKA DUBICA - The delegation of the Government of Republika Srpska /RS/, headed with the premier Milorad Dodik, will attend the commemoration memory and requiem for the victims of ustasha's crime of genocide in the concentration camp Jasenovac. As SRNA learns, after the requiem premier of RS will visit Kozarska Dubica and meet with the municipal organs and representatives from the state and private sector.

BANJA LUKA - The competent ministers in RS Government - for finance Novak Kondic and for economic relations with abroad Savo Loncar - expressed in Banja Luka the moderate optimism before the Donors Conference about B&H on May 7 and 8 in Brussels. BANJA LUKA - The president of the Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ Milorad Dodik announced in Banja Luka the possibility that on the fourth Donor's Conference in Brussels correct the imbalance in allocation of gathered resources between RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/. At the press conference premier Dodik assessed that up to date imbalance could be partly corrected only if 50% of collected donor's resources is directed for the needs of renewal and reconstruction of RS. "Any other result from this gathering we would deem as our failure, because just our government has created a favourable conditions for holding the Donors' Conference", warned DOdik. He stressed that the gathering in Brussels, on May 7 and 8, he considers as a key event in this year, and that on them must be confirmed the real and practical relation of international community towards RS Governments. "Our orientation is directed towards the projects and programmes which should solve the issues of general standard, first of all development of all kinds of communications, and creating general conditions for better life in this region", thinks Dodik.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Government Milorad Dodik confirmed in Banja Luka that he received the letter sent to him from Serbs from detention in Hagues. "On the occasion of this letter RS Government will take a constructive stance and everybody for whom is not proven guilt we shall put under our protection, and especially who voluntarily surrendered to Hague", said Dodik. Premier Dodik announced that very soon the RS Government will form the delegation, which will through the official and legal procedure visit indicted Serbs in Hague.

SARAJEVO - The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers Boro Bosic and Haris Silajdzic confirmed after the session of the Council in the federal part of Sarajevo that materials are completely harmonised and the appearance of the delegation of B&H on the impending Donor's Conference and expressed the hope and positive outcome of this gathering, scheduled for May 7 and 8 in Brussels. Bosic, who presided the session, precisely said that besides the Statement about the economic policy of B&H were also agreed the two also significant materials - about economic policy of governments of RS and FB&H. According to Mr. Bosic, it was agreed that the official delegation should have fifteen members - six from the Council of Ministers, four from each entity and the Governor of the Central Bank of B&H Peter Nicol.

BIJELJINA - The delegation of RS Government on the ministerial level, headed by the vice-president of RS Dragoljub Mirjanic, talked in Bijeljina with the representatives of municipal assembly of Bijeljina and functioning of the republican and local organs as well as the development, infrastructure, economic and social issues in this municipality. According to the president of Government and minister for industry Djuradj Banjac the dynamics of cooperation with this municipality was agreed, regarding the participation of the governmental institutions in joint solving of problems. The ministers will in the framework of the work visit to the north-eastern part of Srpska visit also the municipalities Lopare and Ugljevik - learns SRNA.

BIJELJINA - In the public announcement of the General Staff of RS Army /VRS/ is stated that from May 1 1998 in VRS are introduced new registering plates for civilian and military vehicles in the territory of B&H. As stated in the announcement, the decision about introducing the unique plates for military vehicles of VRS and Army of B&H have brought the commander of SFOR on the meeting of joint military commission held on January 22 in Ilidza.

BANJA LUKA - As the result of the cooperation of the Economic Chamber of RS and the department for economic relations of the Hungarian Embassy in B&H, in Banja Luka, the economists of Banja Luka region and Hungary have lead the direct negotiations about the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the filed of production, trade and service activities and banking and tourism. In the framework of this meeting was organised the promotion of the products of around 30 Hungarian and 40 enterprises from RS. About RS economy talked the president of republican Economic chamber Svetislav Mudrenovic, and about the economic potentials of Hungary Laslo Molnar, the representative for economic relations of the Hungarian Embassy.

BIJELJINA - The minister for refugees and displaced persons of RS Miladin Dragicevic stated in Bijeljina that the process of dissolving particular accommodation centres is underway, while the process of the long-term dissolving is underway in the municipality Visegrad. According to him, in this municipality was organised the development of around 380 housing units in which will be accommodated 1,500 persons. By the allocation of abandoned property until the end of the year will be dissolved another 14 accommodation centres.

SARAJEVO - The presiding of the mission OSCE in B&H Robert Barry presented in the Federal Part of Sarajevo new electoral rules of the Provisional Electoral Commission /PEC/, which will, as he said, be in force until the permanent ones are determined, and one of the new rules is related to the improvement of work and more impartial informing of media. "The basic target is that equal access for all parties is provided in media and that voter get real information", said Barry and added: "All electronic media must secure correct coverage of the activities of political parties, coalitions and candidates, which will secure free and fair elections. The reporters are obliged secure exact, complete and impartial information".

BRCKO - The IPTF spokeswoman in Brcko Katty Laden confirmed for SRNA that after the two weeks standstill, caused by the protest of the local Serbian population, are continued works on repairing Moslem houses in the suburb Rijeke. The continuation of works was enabled after numerous meetings of the Office of supervisor, local authorities and disputable communities and yesterday's decision of the Commission of RS Government for the matters of arbitrage about undisturbed return of Moslems into Brcko.

BANJA LUKA - The Party of Independent Social-democrats /SNSD/ of RS thinks that there is no political stabilisation and development of democracy if soon are not solved the accrued social problems in Republics. This stated at the press conference in Banja Luka the secretary general of SNSD and peoples delegate Nenad Bastinac, stressing that the party, participating in the work of the Committee of the socialistic international for Middle and Eastern Europe yesterday in Sarajevo, warned that "accrued social problems could break down what was achieved until now on the development of democracy in RS".

BRCKO - The big group of Serbs from Sarajevo, who live in Brcko, planned to visit the local cemeteries in Cekrkcici and Ljubinici, on the May 8, the St. Marco day, when Orthodox Serbs from the Sarajevo region are traditionally visiting cemeteries. For travelling to Cekrkcici and Ljubinici, which earlier belonged to the Sarajevo, and now to Visoko municipality, were enlisted around hundred Serbs, for which transportation municipal assembly of Brcko secured two busses.

BELGRADE - The professor of the School of Economy of the Belgrade's university Ljubomir Madzar assessed that, in case of rashness in withdrawal of Yugoslavian dinar from RS because of introducing the convertible mark, that would mean the additional inflationary pressure on FR Yugoslavia /FRY/. "It is not quite obvious that this withdrawal will happen, and if it happens it will not be favourable for FRY, because it will mean the increasing of the mass of dinar which circulates in FRY without appropriate increase in supplies, whether on the basis of import, or on the basis of domestic production{ - said Madzar for SRNa.

SOPHIA - On the just opened greatest fair manifestation in Bulgaria and Southern Europe - Plovdiv's International Fair of commodities, machines and technologies - there are no representatives from RS and FRY, although the trade between FRY and Bulgaria in both directions is planned in the value of 300 million dollars.

SARAJEVO - The director of the World Bank in B&H Rory O'Sullivan stated in the federal part of sarajevo that, if donors approve the request for 1,1 billion $US for renewal of Dayton B&H, the total sum would amount 4,1 billion $US, which is 80% of the amount needed for the programme of the reconstruction. "The global resources for the reconstruction will be allocated in the ratio 70% to the federation B&H /FB&H/ and 30% to Republika Srpska /RS/ on the basis of the agreement reached one year ago, but that relates only on the resources of the World Bank", stressed O'Sullivan, adding that donors could give 100% of the resources to RS or FB&H. He stressed that until now the resources were not regularly allocated, because, as he said, RS until now did not get enough of assistance.

SARAJEVO - The general director of the Department for industry of the European Commission /EC/ Stefano Micossi presented in the federal part of Sarajevo the starting part of the Industrial development programme of EC, which aim is that efforts on the reconstruction of B&H become the long-term business connections between EU and B&H. Micossi stressed at the press conference that EC will invest in this programme 1,7 millions of ECU (3,3 millions of DEM), and will be implemented by European Economic Chamber.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Democratic Patriotic Party /DPS/ of RS Predrag Radic positively assessed the previous work of the Government. "the Government of Milorad Dodik succeeded to return us into the centre of events, i.e. to return RS into Brussels, thanks to the correct insight into all positive moves" - stressed Radic at the press conference in Banja Luka. He stressed that from the Government could be very soon expected the agreement with MMF and World Bank, but also that the conflicts with the Multilateral agreement about investments /MAI/, "which logics will be published until the end of 1998, and which is not acceptable to our and the European understanding of Democracy".

AMSTERDAM - The father Dojcilo Vlajkovic, the priest of the Serbian Orthodox church St. Nikola in Netherlands, spent few hours in the premises of the prison in Hague with detained Serbs, who are celebrating the St. martyr George - Djurdjevdan. The priest, who is simultaneously the priest of the detained Serbs, on this occasion sanctified the water,holy brad and breaking the celebrity cake.

PRISTINA - The state of health of Serbian policemen Djuro Stanojcic, Ivica Jovanovic and Dejan Vucic, who were wounded in the two days ago terroristic attack near the village Ponosevac in the Djakovica municipality, is stable - learns SRNA correspondent in the Pristina Clinic-hospital centre.
