NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BELGRADE - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic and newly elected premier Milorad Dodik will talk in Belgrade with president of FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ Slobodan Milosevic about taking over the duty of the new Government of RS, overcoming the political and economic crisis and the future economic cooperation of FRY and RS. As SRNA learns, Milosevic will in the morning receive the high delegation of RS in Beli Dvor, and after that is scheduled their meeting also with the president of Serbian Government Mirko Marjanovic.

SARAJEVO - The vice-president of NAtional Assembly of RS /NA RS/ and leader of Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ of RS Nikola Poplasen stated last night for SRNA that newly elected Government is not competent to schedule the session of Parliament. He explained that, according to the Rules of Procedure of Assembly, the session could be convoked and presided by the president of NA RS, while Government, i.e. president of RS or third of delegates can demand its holding. "In accordance with the Rules of Procedure the president of assembly is scheduling the session of parliament with the agenda, time and place of its holding" - precisely stated Poplasen and assessed that "all other matters represent aggressive disturbances of particular groups or organs".

BANJA LUKA - The newly elected RS Government thinks that the Second session of NARS "is regularly finished by election of Government by the majority of peoples delegates", and that its continuation cannot happen and calls the president of Assembly to schedule the third session in BAnja Luka on January 24, in accordance to the former proposal. From the Cabinet of president of RS Government is claimed that the call for, as said, alleged continuation of the Second session of NARS only continuation of the division of policy of RS, which, as stated, until now lead Serbian Democratic Party with SRS. "The policy of division became past in the moment when the Government was elected by the majority of votes of peoples delegates and when it was recognised by all international factors", is stated in the announcement.

AMSTERDAM - The English historian Mark Dealer, at the trial before Hague tribunal to Serbian Slavko Dokmanovic in the cross examination presented the facts which are pointing out that the leadership of Croatia by the series of unconstitutional acts had have brought Serbs in the situation to be worried for their survival, which contributed to the start of war. The English historian acknowledged that to the war in Croatia contributed the catastrophic move of Franjo Tudjman by evicting all Serbs as the constitutional nation from the Constitution of Croatia and reduce them to the national minority, which explained their fear of new oppressions.
