Religious service was attended by the RS president Biljana Plavsic, the president in B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik, president in the former convocation of the National Assembly Dragan Kalinic and numerous members of state top. On this occasion the RS president Biljana Plavsic and the delegation of Republic Association of Fighters laid wreaths on the monument to Serbian defenders of Brcko. In the continuation of the celebration in a hotel "Ravena" breaking of Slava cake has been performed , with the church ritual of His Holy Highness bishop of Zvornik and Tuzla Mr. Vasilije.BRCKO - The RS president Biljana Plavsic pointed out at the central celebration in Brcko on the occasion of the Republic Day that, "when the artery of Srpska, and that is this town, is in stake, we have to be strongest, not with power, but with mind and wisdom, in order to celebrate this celebration eternally". After kissing each other on Christmas time, RS president Momcilo Krajisnik sent a wishes and requests to " guard RS and overcome Serbian-Serbian clefts". BRCKO - The president in B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik wished Serbian people happy Day of Republic and St. Patron's Day of RS, with wish for permanent establishment of peace in this regions. " Exactly because of that and the attempt for finding a solution", emphasised Krajisnik, "we have agreed on the joint celebration of the St. Patron's Day". BANJALUKA, PRIJEDOR, VISEGRAD - In honour of St. Archdeacon and Protomartyr Stephen and on the occasion of third day of Christmas liturgy was performed in the Synod of Holy Trinity in Banjaluka, which, like in the few last days of birth of Jesus Christ celebration, was attended by large number of people from Banjaluka. St. Stephen Day - the Day of Republic - was celebrated in Prijedor in the building of Municipal Assembly with breaking of Slava cake and with Slava lunch. The Visegrad Municipal Assembly president Aleksandar Savic prepared on the occasion of RS Day reception for representatives of political, economic and cultural life of the city, emphasising that on this day in 1992 foundation for the new Serbian state had been laid. BANJALUKA, KOTOR VAROS - On the occasion of January 09 - RS Day - delegation of Veteran's Organisation "Holding Cajavec" in Banjaluka, in the premises of the enterprise laid wreaths and flowers on monument to workers of this collective who were killed in this war. The Municipal Board of RS Organisation of Serbian Chetnics (OSC) "Ravna Gora" organised in Kotor Varos, on the same occasion, visit and laying of wreaths on the graves of killed Serbian heroes in Orthodox cemeteries of Municipality of Kotor Varos. TUZLA - The press-officer of IPTF Andre Anjeli stated for SRNA that representatives of international police forces have visited the Orthodox cemetery in Puracic (five kilometres west from Lukavac) and established that 19 tombstones had been toppled. The investigation is in progress, and IPTF will regularly inform public about its results. SARAJEVO - The special delegate of UN Secretary General Ambassador Kai Eide expressly said at the farewell press-conference in Sarajevo that "all war criminals have to be brought before the Hague Tribunal". BELGRADE - A lawyer Milan Vujin, who is representing Dusko Tadic before the Hague Tribunal, will leave tomorrow for Hague in order to lodge a complaint on the verdict by which Tadic was sentenced to 20-year prison term. The lawyer Vujin stated for SRNA that he would lodge two complaints - about the elevation of the sentence and on the verdict on the whole.
