BANJA LUKA - The commander of SFOR general Eric Shinseki informed the president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic that the members of multinational forces will stay furthermore in Brcko and carry out their duties without any change in mandate. At the meeting of general Shinseki and Ms. Plavsic in Banja Luka, which lasted more than two hours, they mainly talked about the situation in Brcko.

BANJA LUKA - The representatives of SPD fraction of German Bundestag Freimut Dufe and Judit Titdke talked in Banja Luka with Ms. Biljana Plavsic about the current political and security situation in RS. The talks concerned also the problems of the refugees and possibility of their return into the earlier places where they lived. As was announced, this German delegation will met on August 31 with the president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - The Supreme Council of Defence sent the requirement to the president of Republika Srpska Biljana Plavsic to include herself actively in the work of the Council and her constitutional and legal authorities in the sphere of defence harmonize with the decisions and stances of this body. In the announcement was reminded that Ms Plavsic formerly informed the Supreme Council of Defence that she will attend its sessions, which discussed about the political and security situation in RS.

BANJA LUKA - The vice-president of the Government of RS Aleksa Buha stated in Prnjavor that the events in Banja Luka, Brcko and Bijeljina confirmed that SFOR came out of its mandate on which was obliged by Dayton Agreement. Buha is from Wednesday with his assistants in Prnjavor in order to inform the representatives of the Krajina municipal boards of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ about the reasons of the decision about postponing the municipal elections, which has brought the National Assembly of RS. "One of the reasons for such decision is OSCE's deviation from the determined and agreed rules and non-respecting given terms for delivering the voting lists in RS", said Buha.

PRNJAVOR - The director of the Direction of SDS Vlado Vrkes assessed that the current events in RS represent the direct destroying the institutions of RS as the state, according, as mentioned, the similar scenario of destroying SFRJ. "The former Yugoslavia was destroyed through its own institutions", stared Vrkes, reminding that first fell down the institutions on the federal level, and at last JNA (army) as the guarantor of the survival of the former Yugoslavia.

BIJELJINA - In Bijeljina was appointed on duty new minister of Internal Affairs of RS Slavko Paleksic, nominated by National Assembly, and from the duty was resolved the former minister Dragan Kijac. In the public announcement, issued after the meeting of the Staff of the minister of Internal Affairs in widened composition, is stated that the security situation in RS was considered after the actions of SFOR members who tried to occupy the facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MUP/.

BIJELJINA - In front of the seat of MUP of RS in Bijeljina is still standing the group of citizens which are expressing the protest because of attempt of members of SFOR to occupy this building.The work of the services of MUP is being carried out without difficulties, and no any incident was noticed in Bijeljina.

BANJA LUKA - The IPTF spokesman sector West Alun Roberts confirmed that after the events on August 28. from Brcko were evacuated 44 members of IPTF and 50 civilian officials of international organisations and agencies. At the press conference in Banja Luka Roberts precisely state that the evacuated personnel was temporarily accommodated on the two locations - the station of IPTF at the entrance to the city and in the SFOR base "Mac Govern".

SARAJEVO - The citizens of Semberija, Majevica and Posavina were not able to watch the TV programming of the Serbian Radio-TV /SRT/ from the studio in Pale, because the relay-station on Udrigovo, near Lopare, was occupied by the private police of Dragomir Kerovic, the delegate in House of Representatives of B&H. As stated by the responsible editor in chief of SRT Drago Vukovic the police forces of Ms. Biljana Plavsic, escorted by SFOR, forcibly from Banja Luka have brought the team which made reprogramming of the system on Udrigovo.

BANJA lUKA - The delegates of the BAnja Luka Assembly condemned the attempts of occupying the vital objects and stations of public security in Brcko, Doboj, Bijeljina and Janja by SFOR members, stressing that such actions do not contribute to the implementation of the Dayton Agreement. "By their bodies they were standing in front of tanks and combat vehicles of SFOR ordered by the patriotic conscience and consciousness. You have sown, many times, how someone has to fight for his state and people. The God and history will forbid nobody in attempt to separate Eastern from Western part of RS", is said in the announcement sent to the citizens of these cities.

BANJA LUKA - The leadership of the Centre with the competence of state security /CRSB/ Banja Luka, appointed by the president Biljana Plavsic, from the job dismissed five officials of this centre - Ljuban Ecim, Zdravko Samardzija, Predrag Kojic, Mirko Pajdic and Nenad Kojic. In the explanation of this decision, issued on August 28, is written that they this group didn't respond on the call of the newly appointed leadership of Centre "to continue to conduct their professional duties."
