SARAJEVO - RS premier Gojko Klickovic said the amount of funds allowed at the Donors Conference in Brussels was expected one, reports DPA, adding that the premier hopes for a fair distribution of funds between RS and Federation of B-H. The copresident of the B-H Council of Ministers, Haris Silajdzic said in Sarajevo he was satisfied with the Conference results, and that the pledged funds would be portioned according to 70:30 principle. The aid is strictly conditioned upon the implementation of the Dayton agreement.

BANJALUKA - Out of total amount of the funds raised at the two-day Donors Conference, one third, or abut US $ 400 million, will be allocated for the reconstruction efforts in RS. This was confirmed by RS finance minister, Ranko Travar, at Banjaluka press conference held upon his arrival from Brussels. He specified that 48 countries pledged US $ 1.226 billion aid.

PALE - The co-president of the Council of Ministers of B-H from RS, Boro Bosic, stated that he was not surprised by the international community's double standards applied at the Donors Conference. "This had been announced even before the Conference", said Bosic, and added that "some attempts were made to use the constitutional crisis in RS for an additional conditioning of donors' aid for RS".

BANJALUKA, BIJELJINA - The president of the Democratic Party for Banjaluka and Krajina, Nikola Spiric, says that the Donors Conference in Brussels showed "disastrous output of the current Serb policy, and reproved that only democratic implementation of the RS presidential decisions allows some brighter perspective for the Serbian people". For yesterday's RS Senate session, Spiric said "was a copy of the former RS Assembly". His party announced that the Donors Conference was one more indicator that US-led international community was set to continue with implementation of its "stick and carrot" tactics in the politically shaky regions.

SARAJEVO - A final decision on legal validity of the decision of the RS president Biljana Plavsic to dissolve Parliament and schedule new elections would be provided by the RS Constitutional Court and would be binding for all, stated the RS justice minister, Branko Petric. He dismissed as unacceptable attempts at establishing competence of the B-H Constitutional Court, some other B-H joint bodies or the Venice Commission.

SARAJEVO - The German foreign minister Klaus Kinkel arrived in a short visit to Sarajevo for a meeting with members of the B-H Presidency and Council of Ministers. The German minister should also hold talks with deputy high representative for B-H, German diplomat Gerd Wagner.

BEOGRAD - The director of the private medical centre "Anlave" in Belgrade, Slobodan Ivkovic, stated that the health condition of Dr Milan Kovacevic, presently under medical treatment in the prison hospital of the Hague Tribunal, was "much improved."

AMSTERDAM - Jeni Luhtenberg, who worked in the Pale hospital during the war, reacted to the arrest of the director of the Prijedor Hospital Dr Milan Kovacevic, by a letter to the Hague Tribunal, stating her wish to witness at the trial "since, as the only one Western volunteer who worked with the RS doctors during the three and-a-half years of war, she witnessed that they did their job professionally, humanely and correctly treating all patients."

TUZLA - An unidentified person threw a "Motolov cocktail" type fire bomb at a car which belonged to SFOR soldier in Vlasenica, says the announcement issued in the Tuzla SFOR base. None was injured in the incident.

MILICI - Two SFOR helicopters circling over Milici for about 40 minutes late last night, was interpreted by the gathered citizens as an announcement of arrest operations against war crimes suspects. SFOR failed to inform Police or any other municipal institution of these activities.

DOBOJ - SFOR Staff in Doboj denied claims of some media in Sarajevo and some foreign media about attacks on members of the multinational forces and their property. The Staff said no reports were revealed in that respect.

BIJELJINA - The secretary of the Local Electoral Commission in Bijeljina, Dragan Vujic, confirmed only 37 out of total 770 appeals of the citizens were approved in the appeal proceedings. According to him, in the registration period, 600 appeals and 170 certificates of citizenship were submitted, but the decision on the appeals has not been made yet.

DOBOJ - The local Electoral Commission in Doboj, appealed all potential voters to check whether they were registered in the voters lists. The appeal followed numerous complaints by citizens who were not named on the preliminary voters lists, most of them being refugees and displaced persons numbering 23,000 in the municipality of Doboj.

NOVI SAD - The officers of the Commesarit for Refugees in Novi Sad, Backa Palanka and Temerin, urged 117 refugees, potential voters for local elections in RS, to refer to the electoral inspection centres, for the correction of all registration errors.

SARAJEVO - The co-president of the Council of Ministers, Haris Silajdzic, accused the Republic of Croatia's foreign minister Mate Granic of openly interfering into internal matters of the Federation of B-H, report media in Sarajevo. Croatian dissatisfaction with the Research and Documentation Centre (Muslim secret police) activities, "B-H TV, enactment failures concerning new municipalities, and talks on distribution of diplomatic seats, stated by Granic provoked a sharp reaction on Silajdzic's part.

BEOGRAD - The presidential and parliamentarian elections in Serbia will take place on September 21, stated the president of the National Assembly of Serbia Dragan Tomic, also the acting president of Serbia since Slobodan Milosevic's transfer to a new post of Yugoslav president.
