NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The development of the Serbian Sarajevo represent the vital interest if the Serbian people on the both sides of the Drina river and it is the symbol of survival of Serbs in this region, it is assessed during the meeting of the economic delegations of Nis and Serbian Sarajevo, held on the Jahorina mountain. While welcoming the representatives of 19 reputable Nis' enterprises, the president of the Executive Board of the Assembly of the city Serbian Sarajevo Bosko Lemez expressed the hope that the economists from Nis will find their place in development and reconstruction of Republika Srpska and Serbian Sarajevo. "The building of 7, 000 housing units is underway, and it is planned to reinstall 28 economic units, of which until June 28, seven will start production", stated Mr. Lemez, adding that in the realisation of these projects participate also the Consortium of seven enterprises from FR Yugoslavia.

MOSCOW - The Russian minister of Defence Igor Sergeyev promised that he will fulfil the long time delayed military reform directed towards creating the smaller, but more efficacious army. "I wish that Russia has the army with the high level of combat readiness and I'll do my best to reach this goal", said Sergeyev and explained that "the army and navy, although reduced, still will be able to defend the state".
