APRIL 20 1997 EVENING

NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

GACKO - The general director of the Serb Radio TV, Ilija Guzina, was buried in his native village of Fojnica, near Gacko. The president from Republika Srpska, in the B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik and editor-in-chief of the Serb Radio TV, Mitar Lazetic, held farewell speech.

BEOGRAD - The absence of any reaction by Belgrade regime to the electoral manipulations in the Srem-Baranja District speaks enough how unimportant is the fate of the remaining Serbs in Croatia for the Serbian and Yugoslav rule, says the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), adding that authorities in Belgrade and Zagreb had earlier agreed, with the blessing of the international community, the electoral results for Eastern Slavonija.

BEOGRAD - His Holiness, Patriarch of the Serbs, Pavle, served the holy liturgy in the Ruzica church in Kalemegdan regarding the Palm Sunday.

LONDON - According to one of accusations, the German BND intelligence service members, who spend the war in the former Yugoslavia as EU Observing Mission members, were included into operations of secret arms and money deliveries to the Muslims and Croats, writes the London weekly "Sunday Telegraph".

SARAJEVO - Croats from the Tesanj municipality boycotted the referendum at which they were to decide about the establishment of the Usora municipality, even though intensive activities have taken place regarding its establishment. Muslim Radio-Sarajevo claims that supporters of the establishment of the new municipality, mainly the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) representatives, boycotted the referendum, fearing a positive solution to the problem at the B-H Federation Government level.
