SARAJEVO - The RS defence minister, Milan Ninkovic and the head of the VRS General Staff, Pero Colic, received in Pale military attaches of Slovenia, Turkey, France, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria and the USA. In a discussion, minister Ninkovic and general Colic informed the envoys of the RS defence system, which is being developed with the highest professional standards. The envoys are to visit VRS units, and attend regular military activities.

SARAJEVO - The RS prime minister, Gojko Klickovic and the Federal prime minister, Edhem Bicakcic, will meet in the Muslim part of Sarajevo. This meeting should be a follow-up of talks on establishment of the mutual economic relations, say unofficial reports.

SARAJEVO - In the Muslim part of Sarajevo, the B-H Council of Ministers will hold a close session to consider the B-H external debt. Other than the Council members, attending will be also high representative Carl Bildt, RS prime minister, Gojko Klickovic, and RS finance minister, Ranko Travar, as well as the governor of the RS National Bank and vice-governor of the B-H Central Bank, Manojlo Djoric.

BRCKO - The choice of place of living is a free will of every individual, and if 28,000 Serbs from Jajce and Sarajevo, who now live in Brcko, want to stay, we will honour it, stated the head of UNHCR, Sadako Ogata in Brcko. While reaffirming that "a year ahead is time for the return of refugees and displaced persons", she expressed her pleasure for many houses are rebuilt in brcko and for many refugees are moved to this city. After visiting the zone of separation in RS, settled by Muslim refugees, Ogata said "it is a very complex situation in Brcko, and UNHCR will built to 600 houses by the end of this year".

ZVORNIK - The president of the Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) for Zvornik, Stevo Radic, and Zvornik mayor, Mirko Rebic, discussed the solutions to the social and humanitarian problems in his municipality with the head of the OSCE Office, Peter Kopens. The Dutch diplomat was interested for the break of deliveries of gas from Russia and for the status of education and science sectors.

AMSTERDAM - The Dutch daily "Groningen Dregens Dagblad Kourant" concludes that RS decided to openly deny accusations of the Hague Tribunal against Radovan Karadzic, and to open a part of the archive concerning the war- period. For the sake of authenticity, the Dutch paper published a copy of one of first orders by Karadzic - dated on May 13, 1992, in which the army and police troops are required to strictly stick to the international war law - which is the first time that media pay attention to evidences provided by the Serbs.

BERLIN In an article titles "Elections without voting places", the Berlin paper "Junge Welt" sharply accuses the Croatian authority of omissions in the organisations of the elections, and assessed that the elections in Eastern Slavonija were "mockery". While publishing statements by competent UN observers, the paper says that "Croatia attempted to rig the electoral results on the detriment of the Serbs who live in the District", the paper also writes that "A series of irregularities occurred in Eastern Slavonija, dominated by Serb populace".

NEW YORK - The Croatian authorities, led by Franjo Tudjman, allowed renaissance of one of the darkest ideologies of our civilisation - Fascism, writes the New York Times. A well-known columnist, A.M.Rosenthal, reminds that the Ustashe were main Hitler's ally and that 50 years later, they are returning "after death of the Nacy Germany".

BEOGRAD - The spokesman of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Milorad Jovanovic, assessed that the elections in the Srem-Baranja District were irregular, because the international community wanted as quick reintegration of the District into Croatia as possible. At a regular press conference, Jovanovic compared the Croatian elections with the elections held in B-H and Slovenija, and noted that the difference is in the fact that in Bosnia, local elections were postponed for a year, while the international community rushed to hold local elections in Croatia before the expiration of Jacques Klein's mandate.

ZURICH - A process to a Serb from Prijedor, Goran Grabez, accessed of alleged war crimes, started in the Military Court of the First Division, in Lausanne. After the revised indictment had been read, the president of the Court, Oka Fner, confirmed that in the because of the lack of evidence, the indictment does not charge Grabez for the murder of Becir Nedunjanin, but only for torture and abuse of six Muslims in the Kerates camp.
