Following one hour talks, Mr. Kinkelni sated that he had "useful exchange of views" with the president of the National Assmelby of Republika Srpska (RS), and expressed his hope for a successful continuation of the cooperation. He assessed that this was an opportunity to learn of Mr. Krajisnik's position regarding the joint institu tions, and reiterated that these talks were private. SARAJEVO - The OSCE Regional Centre Sokolac chief Veniamin Karakostanoglou, congratulated Momcilo Krajisnik for winning the elections for membership in threemen presidency, wishing him good luck in his further work. In a brief statement, Karakostano glou expressed his belief that Krajisnik would have a construc tive role in the collective B-H presidency and would justify the trust he received from the Serbian people which elected him to this post. TESLIC - The Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) in Teslic, sent congratulations to the president of the RS National Assmelby, Momcilo Krajisnik, for winning a seat in the joint B-H presidency. "People in RS voted for your proven and firm consistency in the furtherance of the Serb national inter ests displayed in the past six years of the Serbian political and armed struggle", says the congratulation. SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assmelby and the newlyelected member of the B-H presidency, Mocmilo Krajisnik, will hold a press conference in Pale. As confirmed to SRNA, the conference is due to be held today at 16:30 hrs in the interna tional press centre. BEOGRAD - The president of the Serb National Renewal, Mirko Jovic, congratulated the RS foreign minister and acting presi dent of the SDS, Aleksa Buha, for a great victory at recently held elections."We are glad for the expected results came, and we are sending you our regards with a wish that you will fulfil the expectations of the people and will proceed with quick revival, reconstruction and strengthening of RS", says the SNO congratula tions. BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Liberal Party (SLS), Nikola Milosevic, assessed in Belgrade that the election results and the SDS victory represent a great defeat for the U.S. media tor Richard Holbrooke. "Holbrooke's aim was not only to hold the elections and have the faction committed for the unitary B-H won, but also to have the nationally opted party in RS lost", stated Milosevic at a press conference. BEOGRAD - Biljana Plavsic, who took the lead in the election run for the president of RS, was seen in Belgrade, while in a private visit, while she was surrounded by a large number of Belgrade residents who offer her their support. CELAVELAND - The political analysts and diplomats in the U.S.A. are pessimistic regarding possibilities of the real func tioning of the common institutions in the Dayton B-H, with an estimation that its final division will take place along the ethnic borders. The weekly Time concludes that the Muslim leader Alija Izetbegovic will use all means in an effort to persuade Momcilo Krajisnik to take RS into the unitary B-H, in order to evade a complete paralyse of the common bodies. HAMBURG - In its referring to the elections in the Dayton B- H, the German weekly, "Hamburger Abendblat", assesses that the desire of the international elements to create an unitary state remained unfulfilled, following the victory of "nationalistic hardliners". "The Serbs want their own state, the Croats want to unify with Zagreb, while the Muslims are favouring the unitary state, in which they would be absolute masters", concludes "Hamburger Abendblat". AMSTERDAM - After the results of the elections for the joint threeheaded presidency were announced, talks of a multinational and civic character of the Dayton B-H in Dutch media were re placed by serious analyses of the future relations. Dutch Radio and TV said the western democracy workedout plan on preelection strategy to affect the final post of forces in the joint presi dency, including the return of refugees and a role of the RS opposition parties, as well. ATHENS - The majority of Greek media conclude that the leader of the Bosnian Muslims, Alija Izetbegovic, became the first chair of the collective presidency of B-H, thanks to Ser bia's president Slobodan Milosevic, who split out the constituen cy in RS. A general opinion in Greece is that it was president Milosevic's support to the opposition candidate which prevented SDS's Momcilo Krajisnik from getting enough votes to guarantee him the toppost in the presidency of B-H. BANJALUKA - The RS State Commission for POW exchange, led by pathologist Dr. Zeljko Karan, identified 35 out of 46 bodies of killed Serb soldiers and civilians, exhumed from the "Kamen" mass grave in Glamoc. The fallen Serb soldiers and civilians were killed last year in the CroatMuslim offensive on western RS. SARAJEVO - The RS minister of health Dragan Klainic and the Medical Electronics team from Banjaluka talked in Belgrade with representatives of the Simens Group for Acoustic Technic from Erlanger on faster realisation of the Programme for rehabilita tion and reconstruction of the RS health system.
