SARAJEVO - The high representative of the international community for the former B-H Carl Bildt stated in Sarajevo that one should be "cautious" about the reimposition of the sanctions against RS, reports AFP. "If I see that we are facing an inevitable collapse of the peace process, due to some more serious or deliberate nonobservance of the agreement, we will have that strong instrument - sanctions - at our disposal"

WASHINGTON - The U.S. State Department spokesman Nicholas Burns stated that the U.S.A. will not support the Hague Tribunal demands for reimposition of the sanctions against RS due its rejection to deliver president Radovan Karadzic and general Ratko Mladic. "It is too early for such as decision, for this is not a way to achieve that we want to achieve", explained Burns.

SARAJEVO - The UN expressed their concern about lawlessness in the Sarajevo suburbs which the Serbs handed over to the Croat Muslim administration three months ago in compliance to the Daytona agreement. BANJALUKA - The press conference held yesterday in Banjaluka by the deputy high representative Michael Steiner would not exceed the importance of an ordinary daily event were the deputy high representative not to state some scandalous things. Being asked by the Serb RadioTV journalist: "Why Carl Bildt does not cooperate with the RS vicepresident Biljana Plavsic who was empowered by the RS president Radovan Karadzic to contact with the international representatives", Stainer promptly stated that "we are obliged by the Dayton agreement to cease every communica tion with persons accused of war crimes". /end/
