SARAJEVO - The premier of Republika Srpska (RS) Gojko Klick ovic and the RS minister for refugees and displaced persons Ljubsa Vladusic talked in Pale with Soren Jesen Peterson, envoy of the UNHCR head Sadako Ogata, on repatriation and freedom of movement. Following the meeting, Klickovic stated that Mr. Peter son agreed with him that the implementation of Annex 7 of the Dayton agreement, pertaining to repatriation, has to go steepby- step and the creation of political and media climate must clear way for return of refugees. "Our common estimation is that in RS, he influence of political factors of the international commu nity are stronger than that of the UNHCR, which has worked cor rectly."

BANJALUKA - The RS governor Manojlo Djoric stated in Banja luka, following his meeting with the Intentional Monetary Fund (IMF) director for Eastern Europe, Brown Scot that RS should have its own currency. "I informed Mr. Scot of our position that RS should have its own currency, even more in regard to four years of experience of the RS National Bank which has been carrying out functions as all national banks in the world do", stated Djoric.

BANJALUKA - The VRS Air Force and Antiaircraft Defence com mander general Zivomir Ninkovic and IFOR ground troops commander general Michael Walker did not reached any agreement at their meeting in Banjaluka concerning the opening of the "Mahovljani" airport for civilian traffic. "We did not reach concrete agree ment, but the will was expressed on both sides that all issues discussed today are resolved soon, so I am hopeful that we will make a progress in realisation of the goal", stated general Walker after the meeting. He mentioned that other practical terms from the civilian and military aspects of the Dayton agreement were discussed, among which VRS antiaircraft arms.

BANJALUKA - The VRS First Krajina Corps commander general Milomir Talic asked IFOR ground forces commander general Michael Walker to use his authority and help release of imprisoned Serb soldiers. "We attitude is that more must be done in this field, so as to get things moving", stated general Talic following the meeting with IFOR ground forces commander.

BEOGRAD - The deputy high representative of the internation al community for the former B-H, Michael Stainer expressed his concern over the position of the serbs in Sarajevo who, are threatened by and exposed to numerous bureaucratic pressures by the Muslim authority. In an interview for Nedeljni Telegraf, Stainer announced that the problem will be discussed at a meeting of the Joint Civil Commission, at which Serb representatives will get a chance to explain the position of the Serbs in Sarajevo. /eend/
