SARAJEVO - The prime minister of Republika Srpska (RS), Rajko Kasagic, assessed today that the RS representatives cannot attend the Donors Conference in Brussels under umbrella of the "delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina". While thanking to Carl Bildt for extending to the RS Government the invitation to attend the Conference in Brussels, Kasagic pointed out that "the pro posed formula for the attendance is unacceptable, for, under Dayton Accords, no joint bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina exist before the elections take place".

BANJALUKA - The vicepresident of Republika Srpska (RS), Biljana Plavsic, talked today in Banjaluka with a delegation of the European Council Assembly, about the upcoming elections and other aspects of the implementation of the civilian part of the Dayton agreement. "The positions of the Committee for Political Matters in the European Council do not differ from those support ed by the RS", concluded Biljana Plavsic, and added: "We gave some practical suggestions for holding elections, planned for September this year".

SARAJEVO - In organisation of the UNHCR, the working group of the Joint Civil Commission on Refugees and Displaced Persons held a meeting today in Sarajevo, at which they dealt with the return of refugees to their homes. A draft of Memorandum of Understanding, made between the UNHCR and International Organisa tion for Migrations and the organising of visits of persons in exodus to their previous homes, were on the agenda.

SRRBINJE - Deputy high representative of the international community, Michael Stainer, stated in Srbinje that he "discovered some interests in electricity and water supplying and freedom of movement, which are common to both parties". Following his visit to Gorazde, Stainer met with Srbinje mayor, Petko Cancar, and discussed the implementation of the civilian part of the Dayton agreement.

SARAJEVO - The Federal Police today prevented a lawyer Igor Pantelic from visiting colonel Aleksa Krsmanovic, being held in Muslim prison in Sarajevo. Pantelic stated for SRNA that "he could not timely visit Krsmanovic, with regard to documents control lasting unusually long, although our visit was announced to the judge of Higher Investigating Court in Sarajevo, Izet Bazdarevic".

VUKOVAR - Unless the representatives of the Interim Adminis tration for the SremskoBaranjska Area are not provided freedom movement, I will secure it for them, even forcibly if needed, threatened the Belgian general Joseph Skups, and added that fol lowing the demilitarisation, no armed person will be allowed to move through the SlavonskoBaranska Area.

AMSTERDAM - The U.S.A. helped the Croats to ethnically purge the Krajina, which damaged all previous balance of forces in the Former Yugoslavia, and now they are trying to establish peace which is based on force, stated the Irish minister Conor O'Brien for the Dutch TV.

BELGRADE - The Executive Board of the Serbian National Renewal (SNO) called residents of Belgrade to attend the "Demon strations of Solidarity" to be held in front of the Greek Em bassy as a protest regarding the Yugoslav recognition of Macedo nia.

SARAJEVO - The agreement on mutual recognition and normali sation of relations between Yugoslavia and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (BJRM) revealed a firm Belgrade's inten tion to revise its position in relation to the 1991 Hague Confer ence and to respect Dayton obligations, but, at the same time, opening a series of delicate questions, among which certainly the future SerbGreek relations, says SRNA's commentary titled "More Questions Than Answers".

SARAJEVO - The Muslim prime minister, Hasan Muratovic, stated that Iran will help training and equipping the Muslim army, but will also invest funds in reconstruction, reports Muslim RadioSarajevo.
