[01] CROATIAN DEMARCHE TO THE USA

Zagreb, Oct 27, 1995 (Press TWRA) - Deputy foreign minister of Croatia invited today an official of the US Embassy to Zagreb Robert Finn and handed him a demarche due to the claims the Congressman Frank Wolf made three days ago saying that the present atmosphere in Zagreb reminded of Berlin 6O years ago and that president Tudjamn was a fascist dictator. Wolf succeeded in preventing the establishment of the Croatian-American economic committee. Wishing to preserve good relations with Washington, Zagreb demands American explanation. R. Finn told Sanader that Wolf spoke on his behalf which is not in accord with Clinton's administration.

[02] CROATS OBSTRUCT PROGRESS, SAYS KOSCHNICK

Mostar, Oct 27, 1995 (Press TWRA) - EU administrator of Mostar Hans Koschnick said at the press conference that this month's meeting of 22 states, friends of the B-H Federation was successful but without any progress for Mostar. They proposed resolution demanding fast implementation of Memorandum on understanding signed by Croatian and Bosnian side and EU. Bosniaks accepted the resolution but Croats rejected it, says Koschnick announcing his attendance at the EU meeting in Brussels to remind that it was also a co-signer and a guarantee of the Memorandum on understanding.

[03] GRADUALLY DECREASING TENSION IN MACEDONIA

Skopje, Oct 27, 1995 (Press TWRA) - Despite the improved relations there is still a tension between Greece and Macedonia. Greek minister Venizelos expressed regret due to the motorway between Istanbul and the port of Drac in Albania going through Bulgaria and Macedonia but bypassing Greece. Greece left Pan- European conference on ecology in Sofia as Macedonia participated under its name, not as "the Ex-Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia".

Macedonian minister of the interior Ljubomir Frckovski hold a press conference in Skopje speaking about to date findings about the assassination on president Gligorov. The assassination was three-leveled including initiator, organizer and executor. A financial-criminal group from a neighbouring state was involved in it. That international group is led by a notorious person, experienced in similar crimes who on Sept 28, was in Skopje preparing explosive used in assassination on K. Gligorov. Police is after the assassinators who are from Macedonia and still in flight. President Gligorov should have been killed, Macedonia destabilized and established the government which would try to decrease economic and political sovereignty of that state. Among the reasons is fear from enetering financial investments to Macedonia, says Frckovski who resigned to the government of Branko Crevenkovski yesterday due to his own political responsibility.
