AGIOS NIKOLAOS BEACH

Long sandy beach beach near the settlement of Vassilikos, 15 km southeast of Zakynthos. The area took its name from the the chapel of Agios Nikolaos which stands there.

ALIKES BEACH

Beautiful beach with thin sand which is situated near the settlement of the same name, 18 km northwest of the island's capital.

ARGASI BEACH

Beautiful, sandy beach luing at the the settlement of the same name, 5 km south of the capital.

BANANA BEACH

Long, sandy beach with crystal-blue waters which is situated on Laganas bay, south of Zakynthos. Here, as well as in surrounding areas, the sea turtle Caretta-Caretta bears her eggs in August.

GERAKAS BEACH

One of the most beautiful beaches on the island which is situated in the southern part of the island, near the cape of Gerakas. It is famous because the sea-turtle Caretta-Caretta bears its eggs there in August.

KALAMAKI BEACH

Beautiful beach which is situated in front of the settlement of the same name at Laganas Bay, 7 km south of the island's capital.

LAGANAS BEACH

It is the most touristically developed beach in Zakynthos, 11 km south of the island's capital. The 9 km. of thin sand and its shallow waters, attract a number of tourists during the summer.

LIMNI KERIOU BEACH

Lovely beach which is situated in front of the settlement of the same name, 20 km from Zakynthos.

MAKRIS GIALOS BEACH

Picturesque beach which is situated 25 km north of Zakynthos. During the summer, a lot of tourists come here to relax in a peaceful and calmness setting.

NAVAGIO BEACH

It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Islands. It is situated on the eastern part of the island, near the village of Anafonitria. The beach was named Navagio (: shipwreck) because of an old wrecked ship whose ruins still remain.

PORTO ROMA BEACH

Lovely beach aside the small port of Porto Roma, 17 km southeast of the island's capital.

Small beach inside a quiet bay which is situated 7 km from the village of Anafonitria, northwest of the island's capital.
