Sikinos has few serene picturesque coffee shops, where one can spend the day drinking coffee or a soft-drink, while the town's pastry shops sell the tasty sweet,"pasteli", made of fresh honey. The tavernas and restaurants serve all kinds of seafood and plenty of fresh fish. One should taste the local dishes, such as "Kaparosalata" (a kind of salad), "ambelofassoula" (a kind of beams) and the delicious staffed lambs baked in the oven.
