PSARA

The island's only settlement has about 400 inhabitants and is built in Cycladean style, that is, amphitheatrically in the inlet of Limin bay, on the small peninsula. At the edge of the peninsula, a strong lighthouse lights the crowded passageway between Psara and Chios. The Greek Tourist Organization has seen to the converting of traditional buildings into guest houses, thus offering visitors all the modern comforts.
