The Board of Trustees (BT) is a group of prominent professionals, academics, and policy makers, who meet twice a year to evaluate the progress of the institution and the various HRGs.

The members of the Board:

• follow and evaluate the progress of HRI
• ensure that the HRI is fiscally accountable
• assist in fundraising campaigns
• allocate available funds to HRGs
• represent HRI and communicate its purpose when appropriate

The Board's agenda is set by the Executive Body.

• John Brademas, President Emeritus of the New York University

• Michael S. Dukakis, Former Governor of Massachusetts

• Monteagle Stearns, Former US Ambassador to Greece

• Nicholas Zervas, Chief of Neurosurgery, Massachusetts General Hospital
