Van Coufoudakis: Biographical Note
VAN COUFOUDAKIS is Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at
Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, and holds the rank of
Professor of Political Science. He is also a member of the Indiana
University Graduate Faculty. He is the author of one book, editor of
another and the author of some 65 journal articles and book chapters. His
research focuses on the politics and foreign policies of Greece, Cyprus and
Turkey, as well as post-World War II U.S. foreign and defense policy with
particular emphasis on Southeastern Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and
the Middle East. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Political Science and an
M.P.A. degree from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. degree from the
American University of Beirut.
